For the well being of the other children we should be grateful if you would inform us if your child is unwell. In the event of sickness and diarrhoea , our policy states that children should be clear of all symptoms for 48 hours before returning.
In the event your child contracts a serious or infectious illness we ask you to contact us as soon as possible so that we can take the appropriate action to ensure the wellbeing of the children and staff in the setting.
We are committed to ensuring that your child has access to healthy food during their time with the Pre-School. As part of this commitment, we have joined the Healthy Under 5's programme, a Cornwall Council initiated project, to encourage children, families and staff within settings to live a healthy lifestyle. Our current Food & Drink policy can be found on the policies pages. A copy of our menu is also displayed on our notice board and is available for you to view below. If your child has any specific food allergies, or you require more information, please do not hesitate to speak to us.
Our Lunch Menu will be on a three week rotational cycle, moving forward one day each time, i.e. Monday's lunch will become Tuesday's lunch when Week 1 is repeated. We also intend to change our menu each term to reflect the seasons.
Being more active and getting our hearts pumping can make us feel great! It helps us to be healthier and ultimately, live longer. We know that life can be busy and we often don't make time for healthier meals. But the truth is, preparing and enjoying healthier meals can be easier than you may think. Plus, they don't have to cost a lot of money!
